Conan's been annoying me whenever Norm is on - like with the moth joke and his thanksgiving bit. He tries to rush Norm. God forbid Norm do something hilarious and cut into the guest time of whatever D-list celebrity is on after him.

Itīs hard for me to see how people canīt see that
Norm is all the time evolving for better. "The moth
joke" from his previous appearance on Conan was
perhaps the funniest thing he has ever done.
Everytime he is on a talk show heīs pushing the
limits what can be done in that format. Heīs
basically doing comedy about comedy and that
makes it hard to understand for many people. That
īs why it has an elitist tendency. To understand it
you must think about comedy a lot. The fact that
makes Norm so great is that itīs all so natural for
him. You see very little self-consciousness when he
īs performing. I donīt think Norm has lost contact
with his audience. I think many people have lost
contact with Norm. They are looking for something
that never was there. For me ingenuity is about not
giving a damn about what people think. Thatīs
Norm. Thatīs what heīs always been. What a
natural gift for comedy.

Ha! I got you to post though, Steve. No, I mean, it's just depressing that's all. This board used to be hopping-- the "other guys'" board is boring.
